Room 22, KENNY ARDELL is named after a Gentleman Cattleman from Moses Lake. Mr. Ardell's cattle brands (one from Montana and two from Washington) enhance the vanity along with his personal memorabilia. Garnishing the kitchen wall are rodeo pictures donated by Deb Copenhaver, world champion bull rider. A 1950's antique stove, Ken's saddle, cane and even a picture of his favorite horse, Dinger adorns this room. This room has the flavor of the west - rugged and strong.
Room 21, ODDS & END/BITS & PIECES was named by Jim Zimmerman and has collage of items - from Norm Rolf's memorial (one of the original builders of the Lodge) to Louie Leininger's Camera Collection, Greek Festival Mud Wrestling pictures, Apple Box Labels, 1950's Don's Restaurant Menus, a 1912 Titanic paper, President Kennedy's assassination headlines, moving of the historic town jail, and many, many more "Odds & Ends." Featured in vanity backsplash are pictures is designed specifically for the handicapped and has a view of Soap Lake.
Room 20, TROUT LODGE is named for a Trout Farm on Rocky Ford Creek (founded by Ed McLeary and Ken Drew), that is a fisherman's haven. Represented in the vanity are the hatchery, fisherman, spawning and Ed Norley's carved trout on the backsplash. Three years after opening a watch was found still ticking in the epoxied dining table. Along with the hatch full of collectibles, you'll find a "Trout Lodge" neon sign, pictures of all operating sites of the hatchery, a globe mapping Trout Lodge's foreign shipping lanes and a wonderful view of Soap Lake.
Room 19, LUCK OF THE DRAW was named by Jackie Brown and designed around Las Vegas. You'll enter the room by pulling a Slot Machine handle. You'll find a "Wheel of Chance", a sea of coins in the vanity and the city lights of Soap Lake painted by Seattle artist Joe Goldberg. The dining room table depicts a Rainbow leading to a Pot of Gold. Lots of glitter, glamour and a "Touch of Class."
